CW cancels ‘Batwoman’ after 3 seasons


Washington [US], April 30 (ANI): Batwoman’s time within the Gotham metropolis has ended because the CW has cancelled the DC comics’ superhero drama collection after a three-season run.

Showrunner Caroline Dries took to her Twitter deal with and shared the information by writing, “Simply bought the unhappy information that Batwoman won’t be seeing an S4. I’m bummed, however filled with gratitude. What an honor to make 51 episodes. So many inspiring, sensible individuals contributed to this collection. Thanks, producers, solid and crew. Thanks, followers! We love you.”The collection cancellation comes a month after ‘Batwoman’ aired its third season. Warner Bros. The CW’s house owners, Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount International are exploring a sale of the broadcaster, with native TV station large Nexstar thought of a attainable purchaser, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

‘Batwoman’ premiered to stable scores within the fall of 2019. The collection initially starred Ruby Rose, who performed the title character, aka Kate Kane, a cousin of Bruce Wayne who takes on the mantle of Batwoman when he leaves Gotham Metropolis.
